Biography

Steve is on a mission to build more healthy, engaged and adaptive organisations. His impact goes beyond mere words and actions; it extends to how he makes people feel. His distinctive talent lies in striking a balance between seriousness and levity. While working with executives, managers and their teams on challenging topics, he remains disciplined, deliberate, and careful. Simultaneously, Steve injects light-heartedness and humour, creating an atmosphere that diminishes defensiveness and enhances the learning experience. 

With a wealth of experience exceeding 25 years, he has successfully delivered large-scale, cultural change, performance improvement, and capability development programmes for known, multinational corporations across various industries globally

Steve has vast leadership development experience across Executive, Middle Management and Frontline levels developing their capacity to practice real leadership – addressing both the routine and adaptive challenges they face. He specialises in leadership strategy and capability frameworks, development programs and performance coaching.

Steve presently lives in Italy. Having lived and/or worked in various countries like Australia, the UK, Sweden, South Africa, Chile, and Peru, he has gained an understanding of cross-cultural differences and the power of diversity. His professional experience encompasses a range of industries, including retail, mining, financial services and utilities.

Steve's expertise is rooted in his academic background, supplemented by short courses from the Harvard Kennedy School, peer learning, and practical experience. He holds an MBA with a focus on People Management and an undergraduate degree in Teaching.
