Biography

Mark is a consultant, facilitator and executive coach in the fields of culture change, leadership development and top-team journeys. He is known by clients for his ability to provoke transformative shifts in individuals, teams and organisations.

He has led programmes with a range of global-100 clients, with a bias for experiential and transformative work that is integral to strategic and culture change. He also has a background in diversity and in cross-sectoral innovation processes around “stuck” societal challenges. He has a keen interest in “next stage” organisations – more agile, responsive & purpose-led.

Mark has been working in organisational and leadership development for 25+ years. In 2001, after 5 years as head of Organisational Development at Procter & Gamble South Africa, he co-founded and later led a boutique global leadership/change consultancy in London. He has been a senior associate of Walking the Talk for the past 4 years.

Mark brings particular experience in the Energy sector to this work, having spent a decade running global leadership, organisation and culture projects for Shell, and before that facilitating a leadership program in BP. His other industry specialties include mining, pharma, banking, consumer goods and professional services.


Mark is a passionate South African who lived in the UK for 12 years and has now lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the past 10 years. He works with clients worldwide.
