Biography

Ashley Munday is a strategic advisor, change facilitator, and executive coach who believes in caring deeply and compassionately for others.

With over 25 years of professional experience, Ashley is passionate about strategic planning and thrives when creating concrete and measurable results that support the mission of an organisation.

Ashley has delivered trainings and workshops related to change leadership; coaching culture; collaborative culture; conflict management; effective meetings; empathic listening; energy management; executive team alignment; focus and prioritisation; human-centered design; generative dialogue; innovation mindset; mission, vision, and values; network influence; organisational culture development; personal and team purpose; presentation skills; self-awareness development; strategic planning; systems mapping; team roles; Theory U; and values-based leadership.

Ashley co-authored an eBook on Transforming Culture in Larger Organisations and has written numerous blog articles on the topics of leadership, culture, and change. Forbes interviewed her about her work, and Deepak Chopra interviewed her on his radio program after she served as an advisor for Icelandic national assemblies after the economic crisis.

She has a broad range of industry experience including financial services, mining, technology, healthcare, luxury goods, and hospitality.  She has worked around the world, from the board of a multinational corporation to a population from the untouchable caste in India, and has learned that, when given the opportunity to create positive change, almost all rise to the occasion. 

Ashley is a dynamic and life-loving person. She lives in Asheville, North Carolina, surrounded by galleries, street musicians, farmers’ markets, and the oldest mountains in the world–with her son Risden Woods.
