Biography

Cheryl Lower has helped organisations execute their strategy in complex, global environments on four continents.

Cheryl has over thirty years’ experience managing, consulting, and training in private sector and non-profit organisations. She has devoted 15+ years exclusively to global work -- including 7 years working in Thailand – and has travelled or lived in over 35 countries.

She has worked with a variety of sectors: financial services; senior care; manufacturing; boards of directors; software, biopharma, energy, health insurance; information technology; universities; secondary public and independent schools, and public libraries.

Cheryl has managed large multi-cultural teams delivering services in challenging environments (including United Nations’ Cambodian refugee camps where she was recognised as the “top manager” among staff in 30 agencies).

She has designed and facilitated seminars on leadership, change management, intercultural training, personal effectiveness, communication and other topics. She is an accomplished facilitator, having led hundreds of classes and workshops for groups of 3 to 400.

Cheryl has a M.A. in International Management from the School for International Training and a Certificate in Organisation Development from the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioural Science. She is certified in William Bridges Transitions Workshops which helps leaders and individual contributors navigate changes.
