During 25 years of working with organizations developing cultures for success, culture expert Carolyn Taylor crafted and refined a comprehensive methodology focused on all aspects of building a culture:
- how to lead,
- define,
- plan,
- analyze and
- capitalize on culture.
This methodology is called Walking the Talk. It provides ground-breaking tools and techniques to enable the leadership, management and support of culture initiatives in organizations.
We offer our corporate clients training and certification programs in corporate culture, as well as tools for assessing, planning and managing culture. We also offer our consultant clients accreditation courses which enable them to offer the Walking the Talk tools and programs to their own clients.
You will find that many of our products relate to the challenge of aligning corporate culture so that it will support future goals. We also address a wide range of key circumstances of culture – mergers, rapid growth, a change of leader, virtual teams, early stage culture development and change weariness.
We especially focus on HR professionals, who, as strategic business partners, need to be fully equipped to lead the culture development process and support business leaders in aligning culture to their strategic imperatives.
We have seen that clients who implement the Walking the Talk methodologies experience an improvement in employee engagement/climate scores and an increase in rigor, open-ness, accountability, collaboration and learning in their business operations.
Our Current Focus
Walking the Talk is a new company, and we believe what we are offering is unique. During our start up phase, we have been working on four fronts:
- Packaging Carolyn’s 25 years of culture consultancy experience and her methodology into a series of products and tools. These equip HR teams and Business Leaders to design, lead and manage culture projects that will transform their culture into a competitive asset, totally aligned with their business strategy.
- Pilotting these products and working with our pioneer clients, those who wanted to be early adopters of this leading edge approach.
- Designing an accreditation program/process to train consultants in the market to deliver Walking the Talk methodology, products and tools in organizations.
- Developing Walking the Talk partnership program and establishing partnerships with consultants in Brazil, Canada, UK, South Africa, Spain and Australia to make available to clients a whole integrated solution based on the Walking the Talk framework and those partners’ offerings.
- Creating a web based corporate culture community infrastructure.
